Let’s Talk Obesity

So… I missed out on the whole NY trip a couple months ago that was put on by the OAC and Ethicon Endo-Surgery, but they’re still doing more stuff… and they remembered me and invited me to attend a Bariatric Surgery Q&A Session – and guess what? This time you can join in too… cause, well, it’s all online.

OAC Event - June 2011

So yea, next Monday, June 13 at 7pm Eastern, just head over to LetsTalkObesity.com and you can listen in on and even pose questions to Dr. Lloyd Stegemann from the Texas Center for Medical and Surgical Weight Loss. Joe from the OAC is moderating things… they’ll be taking questions about bariatric surgery and obesity in general. While it’s probably geared mostly towards those who are still thinking about WLS, knowing Joe and the OAC I’m sure there will be some good info for anyone interested in WLS or obesity advocacy.

You can even head over there right now and sign up to receive an email reminder about the event. I’ll probably stopping in to check it out myself…

About Rob

I had RNY Gastric Bypass on April 8, 2009. I went from my heaviest of over 380 down to a low of 188 (for about a day!) before working on rebuilding muscle and such. Now I maintain at about 205. WLS has changed my life in so many ways, including my career as I now tackle nutritional coaching and other obesity education issues.
