One thing we as post-ops hear time and time again from pre-ops is “what do you eat?” My usual response is “food”.

Ok, fine. I tend to expand on that to include the fact that I eat what I consider a pretty normal, healthy diet. I’m able to eat pretty much anything, but it’s more about what I choose to eat.
Eggface (sometimes known as Shelly) has sort of defined the “A Day In My Pouch” blog posting over the years. I’ve done my own “Spending the Day with Joe” type post here and there. These posts can be helpful to others looking for ideas on things that work well for a bariatric life.
A few weeks back a group of us were approached by Nikki from bariatricfoodie.com about us all doing this at the same time as a way to help give others a look at the variety of food we all do eat as post-ops.
So we’re all going to be posting this stuff on/around May 1st (next Sunday). Some will be tracking on the 30th to post on the 1st, some may track the 1st and post at the end of the day or the next… me.. I’ll be out on the paintball field all day Sunday, so I may do some sort of combination. It may be handy for others to see the snacks I have as I’m in what is a bit of an unusual situation (playing paintball for eight hours with about 800 of my closest friends).
Anyways, here’s a list of those who have signed up for this gig so far, so be sure to check them out.
Pam @ Journey to a Healthier Me
Beth @ Melting Mama
Andrea @ WLS Vitagarten
Shelly @ The World According to Eggface
Nikki @ Bariatric Foodie
YOU can be a part of this too… if you plan on doing so, leave a comment below with a link to your blog and I’ll be sure to include you on my link list when I post my entry for this.
